No Smoke Without Fire

For the past two weeks, there has been a constant refrain around the house of my wife practicing to sing "I like to live in Croissy-sur-Seine" to the tune of Bernstein and Sondheim's "I like to live in America". She has recast the words so that the song is appropriate to perform in a skit at my daughter's school in Paris.

Quite an appropriate choice of material for immigrants like ourselves.

She particularly likes to practice singing it in the shower, presumably because the acoustics are better.

Ah, well... it's all for a good cause. Money raised will go towards a smoke machine for the school's production of 'Joan of Arc'.
