It's not easy to establish the ways in which the French really are different from the rest of the world. We all know that French people speak French, mainly live in France and mainly drive French cars. But what are the particular things that make the French different? The things that everyone does, but that the French do differently.
Here is one thing: generally speaking, French people will nearly always stop on elevator stairs. In additon, they do not really understand the concept of standing on the right to let people walk past them. Instead, they prefer to stand side by side, chatting. The same goes for moving conveyor walkways.
