One of the best poetry magazine's currently being produced in Scotland is 'The Dark Horse' edited by poet Gerry Cambridge. It's a magazine whose reputation is firmly established with a bias towards more formal poetic styles. It bills itself as a Scottish-American poetry magazine and has an American assistant editor.
Gerry is currently poet-in-residence at the Scottish Poetry Library. The residence lasts a week, during which time he has the forum of the SPL web site to write a blog about his daily activities and answer e-mailed questions. These mainly seem to come from children, but are none the worse for that.
Gerry's thoughts and answers are very engaging and cover a wide range of subjects. I encourage you to take a look.
